Novel synthesis of CuW composite reinforced with lamellar precipitates via aluminothermic reduction

The in situ synthesized reinforced phases in the matrix have the advantages of uniform dispersion and good interfacial bonding.Aiming at in situ synthesizing rein-forced phases in CuW composite,a novel methodology for direct synthetization of CuW composite reinforced with lamellar precipitates by aluminothermic reduction is pro-posed,and CuW composites and their slags were system-atically analyzed.
